two friends, Anna and Claudia (Monica Vitti Lea Massari), and the first boyfriend Sandro (Gabriele Ferzetti), depart from Rome for a yacht cruise to the Aeolian Islands. On board with them is Patrick (wife of the owner of the boat), Raymond (Sandy's colleague), and another couple (Julia and Conrad).
During a stop at the island of Lisca Bianca, he suddenly lost all trace of Anna. A worthless research and relief. While others go and stay at a villa near Palermo, Sandro and Claudia continue research in Sicily, following a vague clue. While the survey
loses edge, between the two of them developed complications. Claudia and Sandro gives the lure of finding a friend and companion vanished into thin air, perhaps death, it becomes an 'adventure'.
