second feature important young director Nina Di Majo, a former assistant of Mario Martone, " Weddings and Other Disasters" follows the recent trend of Italian comedy to bring in our global society tic atmosphere and its sophisticated comedy of Anglo.

The plot is slight but appealing: her older sister "spinster" is required to complete preparations for the marriage of the child, winning girl and adored by all, along with the brother with whom a relationship has not exactly friendly. The occasion is a starting point for the realization of all the characters.
